Manufacturing Capability

One Facility. Every Critical Step.

FOWALL is a curtain wall manufacturer that owns every critical step of production. We don't buy profiles from anonymous suppliers or hand assembly to subcontractors - we cast, extrude, finish, machine, assemble, test, and pack in one facility.

The Zhaoqing Base

Built to Own the Whole Chain

FOWALL is the global facade brand of Daming Aluminum - a manufacturing legacy that began in 1985. That legacy is built out at the Zhaoqing base: a 550,000 m2 integrated manufacturing park commissioned in 2016, with 30,000 m2 dedicated to curtain wall production and the remainder covering aluminum profile and sheet manufacturing. The entire chain runs on one site - casting, extrusion, finishing, CNC machining, unitized assembly, quality inspection, and export packing.

Single point of accountability

No hand-offs between subcontractors. When you audit FOWALL, you audit the factory that actually makes your product.

One production schedule

All critical steps on one site means no cross-factory waiting, fewer logistics risks.

Full traceability

Material records run from the aluminum ingot to the finished unit, on one quality system.

Raw Material

Where the Material Begins

From alloy billet to finished profile — every stage of aluminum extrusion and surface treatment happens in-house, under our own quality control.
Die Design & Manufacturing
Step 1

Die Design & Manufacturing

The die library behind every profile section

Every profile starts with a die. Our in-house die library and machining let us cut complex, non-standard facade sections without an outside tooling vendor or its lead time

Aluminum Extrusion
Step 2

Aluminum Extrusion

Core production strength

40+ extrusion lines, up to 3,600 tonnes — enough range for slim mullions to heavy structural sections. Every meter comes off dimensionally consistent, keeping the chain to tolerance

Mill Finish Profile QC
Step 3

Mill Finish Profile QC

Verified before it moves to finishing

Every profile is measured against the drawing before finishing — width, wall thickness, straightness, and flatness. Only profiles that pass move on to surface treatment

Anodizing & Electrophoresis
Step 4

Anodizing & Electrophoresis

Premium architectural profile capability

Anodizing gives a hard, corrosion-resistant finish; electrophoretic coating adds a sealed, uniform color layer on top. Film thickness, color, and salt-spray resistance are controlled throughout for long-term weathering

Powder Coating
Step 5

Powder Coating

Our most requested finish

Fast, durable, low-VOC, and available in the widest color range of our three finishing systems. Powder coating is the standard choice for most projects

PVDF Fluorocarbon Coating
Step 6

PVDF Fluorocarbon Coating

High-end engineering capability

Applied using AkzoNobel (Interpon)-authorized coatings under controlled conditions, backed by 10/20/30-year performance guarantees. FOWALL was the first Chinese manufacturer to supply PVDF curtain wall profiles to Japan

Surface Finish QC
Step 7

Surface Finish QC

Checked before it leaves the line

Coating thickness, color difference, gloss, and adhesion are verified on every finish — anodized, powder coated, or PVDF — before it leaves the line

Environmental Treatment
Step 8

Environmental Treatment

A dedicated facility, not an afterthought

Our group invested over RMB 20 million in an on-site wastewater treatment center, processing up to 1,000 tonnes of industrial wastewater daily before discharge or reuse

Finished Product

Where FOWALL Takes Shape

From precision machining to final water testing — each unitized curtain wall passes through six dedicated production stages before it leaves the factory.
01

CNC Precision Machining

Precision starts before assembly

Before reaching the CNC line, profiles are checked against the project's shop drawing — confirming the right material for the right project before any cutting begins. From there, precision cutting, drilling, milling, and slotting shape the profile to the connector geometry specified in the drawing, so each piece arrives at assembly ready to fit without on-site rework.

CNC Precision Machining
02

Frame / Unit Assembly

Where individual profiles become a single curtain wall unit

Cut and machined profiles are assembled into complete unitized panels — frame members, transoms, and mullions fitted and fastened to the tolerances set in the shop drawing. Each unit is built and checked individually before it moves forward, so assembly errors are caught at the panel stage, not discovered on-site.

Frame / Unit Assembly
03

Structural Silicone Glazing

Sealing that has to outperform a window

Unlike a window unit, a curtain wall panel is fully exposed to the building envelope — every joint is a potential point of water and air infiltration, with no secondary frame to fall back on. Structural glazing is done in a dedicated, climate-controlled glazing room. The process follows a fixed sequence — surface cleaning, primer application, spacer placement, glass installation, and structural silicone application — with cure time enforced before the unit moves to the next stage.

Structural Silicone Glazing
04

Silicone Quality Control

Every joint is tested before it leaves the glazing room

Structural silicone isn't accepted on cure time alone. Peel adhesion and cohesion testing are performed on production samples to confirm the bond will hold under long-term load and weathering — batch by batch, not just at project sign-off. A panel doesn't move to final assembly until its glazing has passed.

Structural Silicone Glazing
05

Finished Unit QC

A standardized checklist, not a visual once-over

Every completed unit is inspected against a fixed set of criteria — dimensions, diagonal squareness, joint condition, sealant coverage, gasket fit, glass and hardware condition, and panel ID. A unit passes only when every item on the list is confirmed, not when it looks right at a glance.

Silicone Quality Control
06

Water Test

Verified before it leaves the factory

Finished units are tested under simulated wind and water pressure to confirm sealant and gasket performance before shipment. Catching a leak path in the factory — where it can still be corrected — is the difference between a warranty claim and a five-minute fix.

Equipment That Delivers Tolerance

Claims are only as good as the machines behind them. FOWALL's curtain wall production is backed by Daming Aluminum's group-wide manufacturing scale - including casting, extrusion, finishing, and CNC lines feeding directly into FOWALL's own assembly halls.

Quality

Quality Is a System, Not a Promise

FOWALL's own quality system is certified, not claimed: ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 14001 for environmental management. In-house testing covers the performance your facade will be specified against - air permeability, water tightness, wind load resistance, thermal performance (U-value), acoustic insulation, and salt-spray corrosion resistance.

40+ Years of Manufacturing Legacy

Backed by Daming Aluminum Group - a 40+ year aluminum manufacturer behind the FOWALL curtain wall brand.

National High-tech Enterprise

China Green Building Materials product certification and National High-tech Enterprise recognition at group level.

National Standard Co-Drafter

Participates in drafting GB/T 5237 (architectural aluminum extrusions) and GB/T 26014 (decorative aluminum profiles) - the same standards FOWALL products are measured against.
